Course Requirements

To enroll in the PADI Divemaster Course in Hurghada, you need to meet the following requirements:

• ✔️ Minimum age: 18 years old (Junior Divemaster option available for ages 15–17)
• ✔️ Certified as a PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent)
• ✔️ Completed Emergency First Response (EFR) Primary & Secondary Care within the last 24 months
• ✔️ At least 40 logged dives to start and 60 logged dives to complete the course
• ✔️ A valid medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months
• ✔️ Good water skills: able to swim 400m without aids, 800m with mask, snorkel & fins, and float/tread water for 15 minutes
• ✔️ Basic comfort and ability in handling scuba equipment underwater and on the surface
• ✔️ Sufficient English skills (or the training language) to follow the course materials and pass assessments
• ✔️ A passion for diving and a desire to be a role model in the diving community

Pricing & Materials:

The training fee is €700 for the full Divemaster course. This covers professional instruction, unlimited diving during the course, equipment rental, and all local fees. Please note that PADI materials (Divemaster Crew Pack) are not included and must be purchased separately. Additionally, the PADI application fee is paid directly to PADI upon completion of your course, either via credit card or through your local PADI office.
